hudson search Search for your particular town followed by the word "home" or "homes" or "real estate." These are the kinds of searches that typical surfers are entering.

For example, the search on the right for "hudson quebec home" turns up four sites amongst the top 10 worth mentioning. One is a Site Build It! ("SBI!") site (done by a seller, not even an agent!) and three are articles about SBI!.

Unlike the real estate market in the United States, the Alberta real estate market seems to be stable…for now. There are some reports of homes taking a long time to sell, but real estate experts in Alberta are not worried…yet. According to a report released by Canadian Business Online, Michael Polzler, the regional director of the Re/Max Ontario-Atlantic Canada offices, thinks that Alberta real estate and most Canadian real estate is safe. Polzler acknowledges that the real estate market is softening, but goes on to say that some softening could be a good thing.

The softening of the Alberta real estate (and other Canadian real estate) market might not necessarily be a good thing for Alberta real estate sellers but it is certainly a good thing for the buyers, especially those who might need to find housing quickly or are buying a first home. The softening of the market means that current prices are going to stay at their current rate and are unlikely to spike. In fact, they are more likely to decline slightly the longer a home has been on the market.

Some people are afraid that the Alberta real estate market is in for a huge hit in much the same way that the United States real estate market has been hit. To be sure, the real estate market in the U.S. has taken a real beating in recent years. For now though, the Alberta real estate market looks to be very safe.
